How to use it

Population density
The blue shading shows the Muslim population percentage for each small area, street by street, from the ONS 2021 Census. Darker blue means a higher concentration. Tap any shaded area to see the exact numbers.

Prayer spaces
Mosques and Muslim worship places. These load first so there is always something useful on the map.

Shops
Likely Muslim-owned or Muslim-used shops and food places. Turn Shops on to load around your current map marker; if you move, press “Search shops here”.

Community
Potential Muslim community spaces, Islamic centres, schools and relevant associations. Turn Community on, then use “Search community here” after moving to a new area.

Tap GPS walk and your phone will trace your route automatically as you walk. Tap Stop when you're done and your route is saved. Use this when you're out exploring.
