About
Explore your Muslim community, street by street
Someone wants to systematically explore a city — finding mosques, halal food, Islamic study centres, community spaces — and track where they've already been so they don't miss anything. This app is part discovery tool, part personal log. It shows you where the Muslim community is concentrated, what's nearby, and lets you mark everywhere you've walked so you can build up a picture of your city over time.
How to use it

Population density
The blue shading shows the Muslim population percentage for each small area, street by street, from the ONS 2021 Census. Darker blue means a higher concentration. Tap any shaded area to see the exact numbers.

Community places
Markers show prayer spaces and mosques, halal food, and community places. Toggle each category on or off using the buttons at the bottom. Tap any marker to see its name and address.

GPS walk
Tap GPS walk and your phone will trace your route automatically as you walk. Tap Stop when you're done and your route is saved. Use this when you're out exploring.

Draw route
Tap Draw route then tap points along the streets you walked to trace your route manually. Use ↩ undo to remove the last point. Tap Finish route when done.

Community walks
You can see where others in the community have walked too. Routes stack up on the map — the more people explore an area, the more visible it becomes. Toggle individual users on or off from the users panel.
